Spotted this male lion while on safari in Kruger National Park. His disdain for the light clearly shows his imperiousness for those around him.

“Nikolai Zinoviev is a wildlife photographer based in Russia who’s behind some of the most beautiful, hilarious and downright adorable bear photos we’ve ever seen. On his 500px page you can find more than just bears, he also has a knack for photographing eagles, cheetahs and lions. His love for bears, however, is clear as he captures cute cubs as they hunt, play or just rest near their mom.”
Photographer Carli Davidson was inspired to create this beautiful and heartwarming series after seeing a German Shepherd in a wheelchair playing happily with its owner. According to Carli, “It was so happy, a dog doing what dogs do, totally undeterred by its disability. I felt inspired by the whole scenario. The owner made this choice out of love, to do a little extra work every day to make sure his friend was happy and comfortable.”
